“Disequilibri Musicali”

Circus clown and live music show by and with
Gianluca Marra and Mario Levis
assistant director of Philip Radice

videoOut of the creative union of 2 young artists came the poetry of the show “Disequilibri Musicali”: a clownesque mix of circus arts and live music, fruit of the passion that brought together 2 young artists engaged in their research at the Atelier di Teatro Fisico di Philip Radice of Turin.

In order to play his violin, Ludwig, a musical perfectionist, needs the help of his clumsy assistant, Lebusky. Simple actions are transformed naturally into a growing series of gags and misunderstandings that include club passing, violin suonatas on high unicycles, balancing music stands and a finale with torch passing 2 metres in the air which becomes a conclusive and delirious song for drum and violin, in all, a crescendo of situations and comico-poetic images that astound the spectator.

The show is aimed at audiences of all ages. The spectators become involved with the clowns in their imaginary world and invited to take sides with the one or the other.
